Erik Anderson

Discipleship Pastor

Pastor Erik serves New Life as Discipleship Pastor, overseeing Family Life ministries, Life Groups, and Ministry Teams.

Erik is passionate about every person finding the healing and transformation that comes from a life with Jesus. He loves exploring with others how the Holy Spirit transforms our lives to be more joyful, loving, and overflowing with goodness through both the enjoyable and difficult seasons of life. Outside of his duties as pastor, Erik joins in the work of Jesus in the community by coaching youth sports, teaching classes at Dixon Correctional Center (State Prison), and serving as the Chair of the Board for the 3 Rivers Area Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Erik graduated from Central Christian College of Kansas in 2014 with a degree in Pastoral Ministry. After graduation Erik married his lovely bride, Sara. They moved to Wisconsin in 2015 where he pastored two small churches before being called to New Life in 2018. He is finishing his studies for an M.A. in Biblical Theology at the Institute of Lutheran Theology with his thesis focusing on approaches to the law codes and regulations of Exodus 21. Erik and Sara have three amazing kids: Augusten, Ambrose, and Annie.

If you are looking for Erik outside of the New Life campus, you will find him golfing, coaching his kids’ sports teams, hiking, spending time with his family, or at the gym.
