What an incredible year it’s been for our church! God has been at work in every corner of our community. We’ve witnessed remarkable growth, with over 12 Life Groups nurturing the faith of more than 150 individuals each month. As one member shared, “The life group has dramatically changed my relationships with others.”
Our Bible-Reading Challenge and 21 Days of Prayer guided over 100 people on their spiritual journey, leading to the creation of the Sauk Valley Week of Prayer in partnership with churches across our area.
We’ve celebrated over 10 baptisms and welcomed 100 kids to our vibrant Vacation Bible School. Our community events like the Harvest Festival, Craft Show, and our Christmas Concert welcomed countless new faces, introducing them to the warmth of New Life Lutheran Church.
None of this would have been possible without your unwavering dedication, steadfast prayers, and consistent support. As we approach the Christmas season, we have a unique opportunity to sow seeds of hope and create new ministry pathways for the year ahead.
Introducing our first-ever Christmas Offering! This offering will empower us to make significant strides in three vital ministry areas: strengthening marriages, engaging our wider community, and nurturing the next generation.
Our first initiative, “Robust Marriages Today, Financial Stability for Tomorrow,” seeks to fortify struggling marriages and reinforce the foundation of strong families. We’re planning to offer financial classes and marriage events to support the marriages of the Sauk Valley.
Our second project aims to break the perception that we’re the “best-kept secret” in our area. We want to welcome More New Guests and expand our community outreach, forging partnerships with other organizations to bless the Sauk Valley.
Lastly, we’re exploring a Campus Expansion for Young Families and Youth Ministry. Our church is bursting with enthusiastic kids and teens, and we’re considering an expansion to accommodate them. This expansion isn’t just for us; we envision a space that welcomes our entire community through partnerships with organizations like the YMCA, Sterling Township’s Center for Youth, BLIND, and more.

Robust Marriages Today, Financial Stability for Tomorrow
PROJECT 1
Families around us are struggling. But families thrive when marriages are nurtured and finances are stable. Our mission is to fortify these cornerstones, ensuring every family has the resources and support they need. In 2024, we’re committed to providing transformative classes, conferences, and mentorship programs focused on marriage and financial wisdom. From date nights that reignite romance to financial workshops that pave the way for a stress-free future, we will serve both our church family and the wider community.
Your gift empowers us to launch a marriage ministry and run multiple financial classes so that we can become known as the church who builds stronger families that are transformed by Jesus, together, for others.

Our church is a beacon of hope, transformation, and family. But we recognize that many in the Sauk Valley have yet to experience this warmth. We’re committed to changing that.
Our vision is to step out, make our presence felt, and truly integrate into the community – from continuing to host vibrant events to participating actively in city-wide gatherings. Our mission is not just within our walls, but also beyond. By enhancing our outreach, every member of our church family becomes a messenger of hope and a guide to Jesus.
Your support ensures that we can increase our reach for our community events, as well as equip our active members with tools to invite their friends and family into a relationship with Jesus.
Young Family and Youth Ministry Wing (Campus Expansion)
PROJECT 3
Our church family is growing, and so must our church home. We are running out of room for all the kids and teens that God has brought to our church, so we’re exploring a campus expansion to provide more room for our Sunday School and youth groups. But it’s more than just our church family; we envision a campus that welcomes the entire community. Through partnerships with educational institutions and local groups, we aim to serve as a hub for after-school programs, events, and transformative experiences rooted in faith.
Your gift unlocks our ability to run a feasibility study for this expansion so that we can lay the foundation of a tighter-knit community in Christ.

VISION 2024
Too many of our loved ones and friends wander like prodigals, lost in the endless search for a fulfilled life. But what if we could guide them back, not to a building, but to a family? A family that builds together, strengthens others together, and grows together. A family where friends feel like siblings, and strangers become kin.
In 2024, we see hundreds of active members taking a next step in their journey of joining Jesus in his work as an apprentice in his way of life. Guests and attenders will connect and become active in Sunday worship and beyond. Members will sign up for classes and life groups to deepen their faith. Individuals will practice spiritual habits that improve their life. Families will grow by seeing they can join Jesus’ work in their weekly activities.
Your generosity enables us to increase our ability to connect people to the Life of the church and provide simple tools that help each of us join Jesus in his work of transforming our lives, together, for the sake of others.
