Day 7: Reflect

You've made it one week so far! As you conclude the first week of this fast, take a moment to pause and reflect. Ask yourself:

  1. What has God revealed to me about my distractions this week?  Think about the things you’ve fasted from. How have they highlighted areas of distraction or dependence in your life? What have you noticed about your habits, your desires, or your patterns of behavior?
  2. How has fasting opened up space for God to work? Reflect on the moments when you’ve felt the absence of what you’ve given up. Has it created room for God to speak, act, or renew something within you? How has your heart shifted, and what new insights have you gained through this intentional time of fasting?


Take some time today to journal your thoughts or even share your reflections with a friend or prayer partner. These insights can help guide your fast as you move forward, deepening your connection with God and allowing Him to work in even greater ways in the coming days.
