Day 21: EXPRESS FAITH IN GOD’S POWER

“...FOR YOURS IS THE KINGDOM AND THE POWER AND THE GLORY FOREVER...”

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21 NIV

Spending our prayer time by claiming God's authority and power helps focus our minds on the truth and hope of who He is and what He can do. Remind yourself of God’s power and then return to praising Him and declaring your faith in Him:

• “Yours is the Kingdom” – all authority belongs to God
• “Yours is the Power” – all mightiness flows from God
• “Yours is the Glory” – God’s victory will be complete

End your time with the 3 most important questions for every Jesus follower:

1. What is God saying to me from this prayer time? What is standing out?
2. What is God inviting me to do in response? How can I take a small step in following Jesus in this way this week?
3. Who is God putting on my heart to share this with? How can I reach out to them today?

 

Closing Prayer

Father, help me to live this day to the full, being true to You, in every way. Jesus, help me to give myself away to others, being kind to everyone I meet. Spirit, help me to love the lost, proclaiming Christ in all I do and say. Amen.
