19 – Boldness to Share | 21 Days of Prayer 2025

They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
Acts 4:31

“My dad can beat up your dad.” I don’t think I ever said that in real life, but I watched it in enough movies growing up that it’s seared in my memory as if it’s my own.

But in those instances, the kids talking are emboldened by the presence of their dad.
If they were out in the playground by themself, they might not be talking such a big “game.” But once their dad is in view? The boldness grows.

Acts tells us a similar story about when the disciples of Jesus are waiting around after Jesus had ascended. They knew that Jesus was the Messiah. They knew that he was the only way to salvation.

But they weren’t sure how to tell anyone…yet.

Then God’s Spirit fell upon them and gave them boldness, and they immediately rushed out into the town to tell every single person they met.

As you think about whether or not you feel boldness in sharing the good news of Jesus, remember this: God’s presence gives courage to speak up about Him.

So how do we ensure to draw near and remain in God’s presence more regularly, so that we can be sent out with His presence into the places he’s sending us?
