15 – Ask God to Send You | 21 Days of Prayer 2025
Here am I. Send me!
Isaiah 6:8
One of the biggest differences that I’ve noticed between children and adults is this: willingness to participate.
You know this already, because we’ve all seen someone ask a group of kids, “Who wants to help me with something?” and then over half the group immediately raises their hands or runs up to volunteer themselves to be chosen for the task.
But ask the same question of a group of adults? You’re more likely to receive the response, “Depends what it is…”
The prophet Isaiah was praying one day and received a vivid vision from God, showing him about the distance and disdain that God’s people felt in their faith. Isaiah lamented that he and his people were unclean and unworthy of God’s love.
But God’s love hadn’t given up on his people. He needed a volunteer to go as a messenger to call his people back to him.
Isaiah answered the call. Isaiah wanted to help. He wanted to be used by God to reach those far from him.
The same invitation is being offered to us. God is calling YOU to join him in his work of helping others follow him. And this spiritual habit of prayer leads to action, because God wants to work through you.
Are you willing to be used by him?
Do This: Pray for 3 minutes: “Lord, where are You sending me today?”
Closing Prayer: Father, I am available. Send me where You want me. Send me to whom you want.
