Erik Anderson, Discipleship pastor
Pastor Erik Anderson accepted the call to serve at New Life Lutheran church in the summer of 2018 as our our Discipleship Pastor.
Erik graduated from Central Christian College of Kansas in 2014 with a Bachelor's of Science in Pastoral Ministry, and after his ordination and internship, he worked as the Lead Pastor in two smaller parishes in Wisconsin focusing on ministry revitalization and discipleship to those in the margins of society. He is currently studying for an M.A. in Religion at the Institute of Lutheran Theology. As a fresh, new ordained voice in the LCMC, Erik looks forward to continuing his education and completing his certification with the LCMC as he helps New Life make a large impact in the Sauk Valley and world.
If you are looking for Erik outside of the church walls, you will find him around the community drinking coffee, spending time with this sons, hiking, kayaking, or reading.
Erik is married to his lovely bride, Sara, and they welcomed their son, Augusten, to their family in July 2017 and recently added another son, Ambrose in February 2019. Their family enjoys hosting friends and neighbors, exploring nature, singing, and reading together.
