Family Life Director
Kelsey graduated from Eureka College in 2016 with a degree in Music. Following her graduation, Kelsey married her husband, Zach. After a year of marriage in Eureka, they moved back to Zach’s hometown of Rock Falls to fulfill Zach’s dreams of being a teacher and a basketball coach. Following their move to Rock Falls they welcomed their first son, Bode, into the world and Kelsey fulfilled her dream of being a stay-at-home mom.
Kelsey had always planned on being a stay-at-home mom for the long run. In May of 2021, God revealed that he had other plans for her life. She was recruited by her father-in-law to head up Vacation Bible School at New Life Lutheran Church for the summer and the rest is history! In August of 2021 she was officially a staff member at New Life.
Her story shows that your plans for your life don’t always align with the plans God has for your life. The good news is… God’s plans are far greater! He provided her with a job where she could utilize her God given gifts AND still be a stay-at-WORK mom. When her son is not in school, you can find him at New Life helping his mom do God’s work – or riding his blue scooter.
Kelsey and her family will be welcoming a baby girl in December of 2022.
