First Communion Classes & Celebration

First Communion is a beautiful milestone in the life of a believer. It is a moment to pause, learn, and more deeply understand the gift Jesus gives us in the Lord’s Supper.

First Communion classes will be held on Wednesday, March 25 at 6:00 PM. Families are invited to grab some soup beforehand and then join us as we explore what Communion means, why it matters, and how this sacred meal connects us to Christ and to one another. This class is designed to help children and families feel confident, prepared, and excited to receive this gift.

This class is also a great "refresher" for any adults that want to learn or be reminded about what Scripture teaches us about communion, and why it is an important sacrament in the life of every believer.

For children that are learning about communion for the first time, the celebration of First Communion will take place during our Maundy Thursday service on April 2 at 7:00 PM, a powerful night in the Journey to the Cross as we remember the Last Supper and Jesus’ command to love one another.
