GETTING TO KNOW NEW LIFE

To give you a little background...

New Life Lutheran was found on January 21st, 2010, on a simple but important truth that the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God. This timeless gift from God transcends our human understanding and guides us into all truth for this life and the next.

It was this understanding of God’s Word that ultimately inspired our founding members to establish a church, hold their first worship service, call a pastor, build a church building, and create a culture that was willing to do anything to bring transformation into people’s heart and lives through the power of God’s Word.

Our Mission & Vision

Transformed Hearts. (Gospel: God calls us, through the power of the Holy Spirit, into a relationship with him that begins in this life and lasts forever).

Transformed Lives. (Ongoing gospel: God uses the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives to transform every element of our life: marriages/friendships, finances, work/school, etc.).

Transformed Community. (Ongoing gospel: God uses this collective transformation in our congregation’s lives to provide this same transformation for our community).

Transformed World. (Ongoing gospel: God uses this ripple effect of transformation to impact an ever-growing area of influence through God’s transformation in our hearts and lives).

Theme Verse: This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! -2 Corinthians 5:17

Our Strategy

Row: Jesus had an amazing ability to connect with people on every step of their faith journey. We read in Scripture that often great crowds gathered around Jesus to hear his magnetic preaching and see his unbelievable miracles. At New Life, we follow his patterns by creating magnetic worship experiences that allow individuals to be drawn closer to Christ no matter where they are at on their faith journey.

Table: Though Jesus spoke to large crowds, he also made time for smaller groups, like his disciples. He ministered with them, cared for them, loved them, and had deep conversations with them. Once again, as a church, we simply follow in the footsteps of Christ and intentionally create and participate in groups like this in our church called Life Groups.

Chair: We are told in the Bible that often Jesus would go away to quiet places to connect with God. If Jesus had to be intentional about being connected with the Father how much more do we need to be? The final piece of the puzzle at New Life is for our members to be equipped to communicate with God (prayer) and have God communicate with them (reading the Bible). To help you in this area of growth, we provide resources like: Our Daily Bread, the Discipleship Moment, and RightNow Media.
